The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs for Islamic Studies and Holy Qur’an Affairs, Dr. Fahd Al-Janfawi, said that the Islamic studies sector has completed its preparations to receive the blessed month of Ramadan, pointing to learning the Holy Qur’an and Sharia sciences through the centers of the Holy Qur’an Affairs and Islamic Studies sector, which includes 200 centers spread across all regions. The regions of the State of Kuwait in the morning and evening periods, in addition to cultural forums, scientific weeks and cultural activities.
Al-Janfawi added: The preparations for the holy month of Ramadan in the studies sector began before the holy month, when the sector held a forum for men (and that you fast is better for you), in which many sheikhs and preachers participated in a number of mosques in the country, in addition to another forum for women during the entire month of Shaban Under the slogan (If God is with you), in addition to holding a special daily scientific and cultural forum for women during the blessed month of Ramadan from eleven in the morning until ten in the evening. The Noble Qur’an, legal lessons, advice and guidance that make the Muslim a winner in the season of goodness.
Al-Janfawi explained: All centers of the Noble Qur’an Affairs and Islamic Studies sector in various monitors of the role of the Noble Qur’an - Al-Turja centers - Al-Siraj Al-Munir - Quran memorization circles - the young reader - in addition to Hafs centers and other centers of the sector receive those wishing and registered in them on the morning and evening periods, noting that Some of these centers receive those wishing and registered through distance education, which has proven its success during the Corona virus pandemic, and therefore we are still continuing to invest these platforms in e-learning with the aim of spreading the message of the Noble Qur’an, adding that there are many scientific and Holy Qur’an competitions in various departments of studies The most important of which is the “Fill Your Home Nora” competition in its third edition, which has proven its success and distinction over the past two years to select the sweetest voices and the most beautiful recitations of the Holy Qur’an, in addition to a new qualitative competition under the name (The Preservation League), in which a group of Quran memorizers compete with another group.
Al-Janfawi called for taking advantage of this blessed month and the honorable guest by turning to the Holy Qur’an for learning and teaching. The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “The best of you are those who learn and teach the Qur’an.” Holy and Sharia sciences for the various segments of society, citizens and residents.
